May Reflection

Hey Amazing Ladies!

I wanted to take a moment to share some reflections from May and the recent Space & Grace Connection Call. As many of you know, this month has been a bit hectic for my husband and I. Just moving everything we own to a new house - no biggie, right?! But, amidst it all, I’m so grateful for my loved ones and this community of women who encourage me, support me and remind me to slow down and give myself grace - we all matter more than the state of our living rooms!

Thank you + farewell sweet home!

During the call on May 30th, we had a heartfelt discussion about the importance of letting go of what we can't control and being our own source of happiness. It's all about giving ourselves what we need and not being afraid to ASK for help when we need it. It’s funny how we often expect different results while doing the same things over and over…cough cough *definition of insanity*. Maybe it’s time to focus more on “being” rather than constantly “doing.” When we measure our worth by our productivity and accomplishments, this mindset often leaves us feeling exhausted and unfulfilled. "Being" shifts our focus from the external to the internal, from what we do to who we are.

We also talked about how our expectations for specific outcomes can set us up for disappointment and resentment. Instead, choosing grace means giving ourselves and others the freedom to be wrong, to be human, and to explore new possibilities without fear. This shift creates a much softer, kinder space for everyone to be their true selves.

Lastly, we touched on how we often seek validation from our work or other people, only to feel let down when it doesn’t come. The key - looking inward and giving ourselves the care and recognition we truly need. Embracing Space & Grace isn’t about adding another task to your list; it’s about being intentional in each moment. Think about what fills your cup and sparks joy—those are the things that will help you reconnect with yourself and find grace.
